I’m a Rhodes University Fine Arts Graduate, raised on a farm in South Africa where I spent most of my childhood playing in cow sheds and combine harvesters. I believe that my rural upbringing developed in me a unique sense of appreciation. From working in a tiny advertising agency at the start of my career in 1998 to being Art Director on one of South Africa’s leading magazines, I’m a curious and passionate designer with a strong work ethic.
Now specialising in Healthcare Communication Design, I produce high quality, creative print and digital designs and animations for use on packaging, publications, websites, social media and in-store displays. Healthcare design requires a certain kind of sensitivity, and it's where I thrive.
I live down a dirt track country lane in Surrey, UK, with my husband and children. I work from the log cabin in my garden and enjoy waking up to the sound of donkeys.

My most adrenaline-fuelled role? Art Director on both Woman&Home and Essentials magazines. The pace was relentless, the deadlines unforgiving, but there was something incredible about being creatively responsible for designing those glossy pages that landed on shelves and in homes all across the country.
