Faye, a Rhodes University Fine Arts Graduate, was raised on a farm in South Africa and spent most of her childhood playing in cow sheds and combine harvesters. She believes that her rural childhood developed in her a unique sense of appreciation. From working in a tiny advertising agency at the start of her career in 1998 to being Art Director on one of South Africa’s leading magazines, Faye has become a curious and passionate designer with a strong work ethic. Faye’s unique and clean designs are created on a Mac and are testimony to her passion for her work.
Faye, now working mainly in Healthcare communication design, has a meticulous eye for detail and a knack for drilling down, understanding and interpreting ideas. Her design goal is to create visual experiences that give a voice to science and bring data to life.

Faye now lives down a dirt track country lane in Surrey, UK with her husband and children, she works from the log cabin in her garden and enjoys waking up to the sound of horses.

Her most adrenaline-filled job would have to be when she was Art Director on both woman&home and essentials magazines. The pace was frenetic, the deadlines tight. The thrill of being creatively in charge of those beautiful, glossy pages that women all over the world couldn't wait to read.
